INGREDIENTS FOR THIS DOG TREATS RECIPE
This easy recipe has just five components. FIVE. It is that easy.
You’ll be using:
- smooth peanut butter
- molasses
- milk
- whole wheat flour
- Baking powder
The Way to MAKE DOG TREATS
To start, you will want to preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Then, blend the ingredients in a mixer on low until well mixed. Or borrow your kid’s muscles. In my experience, boys love demonstrating just how big their muscles are showcasing what they can achieve.
Once well blended, place the dough between 2 sheets of parchment paper and roll into about 1/4 inch thickness.
We utilized a darling bone-shaped cookie cutter to get our pup treats. You might also use a conventional circle cookie cutter or a glass.
After we had the bone contours, we popped them on a cookie sheet for baking in the oven.
You will bake for about 17 minutes.
You will receive about 40 medium-sized puppy biscuits from this recipe.
HOW TO STORE HOMEMADE DOG TREATS
Now that you have learned how to create your pet treats, how do you keep them?
Even though your pal might want to devour all of them in one sitting, so I would not suggest it.
I saved Max’s in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They could last for up to two weeks in the fridge or around eight weeks in the freezer.
Max loved this recipe! Along with my boys loved giving them. Both my boys are dog fans and have a massive soft spot for Max. He enjoys them too — particularly when they’re in front of him with homemade dog treats!
