Vitakraft Sun Seed Inc. of Weston, Ohio, USA, remembered one lot of Vitakraft Vita Smart Hedgehog Food since it has the potential to be infected with Salmonella, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. So far, there have been no reports of disease.

Vitakraft Sun Seed was advised on February 19, 2021, from the Michigan Department of Agriculture which Salmonella was discovered in a review sample of merchandise in Volume Number 343422.
